Need someone to talk about digital marketing at your next event?
I LOVE talking about sustainable marketing to leadership teams, business owners & other marketers for short, 1 hour presentations or longer workshops.
What do you mean by sustainable?
Sustainability can be a loaded word. In my work, sustainable marketing means:
Learning to do what you can, when you can, with what you have.
It’s especially important for those marketing solo or with limited staff marketing experience.
Instead of focusing on shiny objects that you and your team may give up by summer 1, I’ll help you examine your marketing and communications through the lens of your organization and mission (where it is right now), who you need to talk to (your audiences), what goals you are supporting, and who is doing the work (you, a team member, a consultant, etc.).
All of my presentations and workshops are designed to give sustainable marketing ideas - not shiny objects that will stress already stressed teams out more.
Topics Available for 2025:
Clearing Out Your Must-Do Marketing List: An interactive workshop-style presentation where participants are guided to look at their marketing ideas lists - whether its things they’ve been meaning to do, channels they’ve been told they should be using, or tactics that they want to try - and identify what is right for their business or organization, right now. At the end of the session, they will have direction in their upcoming marketing plans and a process to evaluate new marketing ideas with!
Fundraising, Socially: A one-hour presentation on how to use social media to engage donors, tell your story and stay top of mind in a chaotic fundraising universe. In it, we’ll look at how small teams can be more effective at using their social media by engaging donors regularly, sourcing stories throughout their organization, plan effectively and deal with social media trends.
Communicating With Your Community: A one-hour presentation on ways that small teams can listen to their audience, find their people & use the stories they find to connect with their community. In it, we’ll look at how small teams can utilize what they have internally and through their community to create more effective social media messages to further their mission.
